Batchfire welcomes new apprentices to Callide

Batchfire has welcomed eight new apprentices in our first Apprentices and Trainees Queensland (ATQLD) intake round for 2024 – all now officially on the tools and doing a great job! 

We usually welcome four new apprentices each year, consisting of three fitters and one electrician, but as the Callide Mine continues to grow so too does the number of apprentices entering our ranks.  

This year we have taken on no fewer than eight talented aspiring tradespeople, all looking to embark on an exciting journey within the resources sector.  

Congratulations to the following new starters: 

Tarsha Hebbard – Electrical Apprentice

Cooper Creed – Diesel Fitter Apprentice

Tate Neumann – Diesel Fitter Apprentice

Tyler Dederer – Telecommunications Apprentice

Diego Abell – Diesel Fitter Apprentice

Cameron Wedemeyer – Diesel Fitter Apprentice

Jared Currier – Electrical Apprentice

Connor Bunker – Diesel Fitter Apprentice
