Batchfire Awards celebrate excellence
Batchfire Resources held its 8th Annual Awards Dinner at the Anzac Memorial Club, Biloela, on 4 September 2024.
The dinner and awards ceremony celebrates outstanding achievements, longstanding tenure and the people that make Callide Mine such a fantastic place to work.
“We really look forward to this event because it’s an opportunity to formally thank so many of our standout employees,” said Batchfire Resources CEO, Allan Fidock.
“The people presented with awards don’t do this for specific acknowledgement, but it’s a real pleasure being able to celebrate their achievements while family and friends cheer them on.”
This year, two workers celebrated their 40-year anniversary at Callide Mine, which is an incredible milestone, and one Allan says speaks to the enduring culture Batchfire Resources provides.
“To see Debbie Fisher and David Perry celebrated for 40 years in this industry, at Callide Mine no less, was special,” he said.
“Our people enjoy coming to work, whether they’ve been with us for one year or forty years, the part of which we are most proud.”
